The team behind Alpine Edge wasn’t formed on paper. It came together step by step, in the mountains. What connects them is a shared ability to stay present when it matters most: calm in uncertainty, focused under pressure, and grounded in what truly supports others.
A team trusted not only with the route and safety, but with creating the right conditions for people to reflect, grow, and connect in a meaningful way.
Anda is the founder of Alpine Edge.
She believes that personal development starts from within: becoming aware of who you are and what drives you. Freedom is an important value for her; when she began making choices based on that value, things started to fall into place. Her love for mountain sports and her experiences with people in the mountains showed her how powerful such an environment can be, and inspired her to create Alpine Edge.
Professionally, Anda supports organizations in navigating complexity and creating sustainable value, offering advice, guidance and challenge. At the same time, athletics and dance have shaped the way she lives: with focus, discipline, and a strong connection between body and mind.
Alpine Edge brings these worlds together. She designs programs where physical challenges, coaching, and reflection reinforce each other, guides the process, and creates the space where professionals can reconnect – with themselves, with each other, and with nature. Growth can happen here, when people dare to step into the unknown, supported by those who stand beside them.
With a background in team coaching, workshop design, and group facilitation, Gabriel helps create the kind of atmosphere where people can slow down, speak up, and learn from each other. His calm presence and thoughtful questions support both individuals and the group in making sense of what’s unfolding – in the mountains and within themselves.
Gabriel brings his deep love for nature into the Alpine Edge experience. A passionate hiker, backpacker, and climber, he sees the mountains not just as a backdrop, but as a mirror and catalyst for growth.
Joining Alpine Edge was a long-held dream: a chance to combine his professional experience in leadership development with his connection to the wild. That mix – structure and flow, groundedness and movement – is what makes his contribution powerful.
One of his guiding beliefs is that anything worth doing, is worth doing poorly. Not because quality doesn’t matter, but because when something truly matters, it’s better to begin imperfectly than to not begin at all.
With over 30 years of mountaineering experience, Robert brings calm leadership and deep knowledge to the Alpine Edge team. Based in Innsbruck, he works as a physiotherapist and trains healthcare professionals, combining technical expertise with empathy and clarity.
At Alpine Edge, he guides participants safely through rugged terrain and climbing routes. His steady presence makes him someone you can rely on when it matters most.
What motivates him, is the chance to bring together his experience in both mountaineering and education, and to see people grow in a setting that challenges and inspires. His approach is reflected in his own words:
“Slowly but steady. Don’t hesitate. Follow your dreams in small steps – and don’t forget to live.”
Born near Salzburg and now based in Lech, Thom is a passionate climber, ski and snowboard guide who spends his winters guiding just outside his front door, and his summers leading summit tours and climbing courses across the Alps. With additional experience in rope access and a strong interest in yoga, he brings a grounded and versatile energy to what he calls the Alpine Edge family.
At Alpine Edge, he leads the outdoor activities with a practical mindset and a strong sense of presence. Whether it’s helping someone through an exposed passage or building a tailored climbing parcours, he tunes into each person’s needs with calm focus and care.
For him, it’s not about chasing big moments – it’s about creating meaningful days, grounded in respect.
“I try to make every day meaningful. For me, it starts with respect – for the people, the moment, and the mountain.”
